A wise man, or a mad one depending on how you look at these things, once said that flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss. It must be to this end that I keep throwing myself forward. Has anyone else tried this? Did you have any success?
The Book and Biscuit 
I’m doing a bit of that right now. I’m in the Netherlands, country number 3 of a 9-country, 6-month sabbatical from work with my husband. He will likely be able to return to his job, and I’ll be embarking on a new career when we return in July. So far, it’s feeling like a very successful trip: beautiful and creatively inspiring.
